Small Groups are a great way to connect with new friends and to grow in your faith. Jesus led the way in this with his group of 12 disciples. Connecting with other believers on your faith journey is essential for encouragement, purpose, mission, and fun.
Easy to get connected
It is easy to get connected to our small groups. The Sunday morning Small Groups groups listed below are happening this week. We have a number of other small groups that meet at various times and throughout the year. If you would like to learn more, contact Pastor Dave below.
Small Groups happening this Sunday:
Five Lies that Ruin Relationships By Chip Ingram
"Do wrong beliefs produce wrong behavior?" What we think about life determines how we live it, so there is power in knowing and applying God's truth to our relationships.
Kurt Martin teaches this class in Room 121.
The Fear of the Lord
Though the love of God might be what draws us to the Father, the fear of the Lord is what will keep us on the narrow path toward fulfilling His kingdom purposes for our lives. Proverbs 9:10 states, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight" (ESV). This class will focus on what the Word of God teaches regarding the fear of the Lord and how important it is in how we walk in relationship with God and others. Kenny Rigler facilitates this class in the sanctuary.
Mentoring Women Class
Discover the power of cross-generational friendships! Exploring an encouraging vision from Titus 2, reveals that all women are strengthened when young moms and singles widen their peer groups to include those who've "been there" and when older "veterans" shed their protective cocoons and invest in the next generation. Videos and class discussion will enhance the weekly readings. Participants will be expected to read a chapter a week. Sign up at the Signup Spot to make sure enough books are ordered. Genell Albert & Kara Olmstead will facilitate this class in the Center Garage Room 407.
Faith in Action Class
We will focus on getting to know each other by making time to share testimonies and pray each week. Participants will be encouraged to view the videos outside of class, so more time is available in class for discussion. Justin Greenleaf and Luke Lundmark facilitate this class in Room 123.
