Small Groups are a great way to connect with new friends and to grow in your faith. Jesus led the way in this with his group of 12 disciples. Connecting with other believers on your faith journey is essential for encouragement, purpose, mission, and fun.
Easy to get connected
It is easy to get connected to our small groups. The Sunday morning Small Groups groups listed below are happening this week. We have a number of other small groups that meet at various times and throughout the year. If you would like to learn more, contact Pastor Dave below.
Small Groups happening this Sunday:
In this Book of the Bible series, Chip Ingram unpacks the book of Titus. He challenges us to display the gospel in our lives through doing good. We do good works not to earn God’s favor, but as a result of God’s favor. When the gospel has truly taken root in our lives, it produces the fruit of godliness. As we pass these things on to future generations, the Church stands in bright contrast to the darkness of the world. Darrell & Michele Eiland facilitate this class in Room #123.
In Unshakable Hope, Max Lucado unpacks 12 of the Bible’s most significant promises, equipping you to overcome difficult circumstances by keeping your focus on the hope found in the promises of Scripture rather than dwelling on the problems in front of you.For every problem in life, God has given you a promise. Kurt & Paula Martin facilitate this class in Room 121.
Revive: College Class
This class is designed to go along with the church-wide Bible reading campaign. The Storyis an abridged, chronological Bible that reads like a novel. For those intimidated or overwhelmed by the unabridged Bible, The Story helps people understand God’s Word more fully and engage with it more easily. In this class, we will dive into the Bible stories we read and discuss together difficulties, solutions, and life in general. Pastor Dave will facilitate this class in the Worship Center.
In the World, Not of the World
Foundations for Living a Biblical Worldview (BWV) Objective: Examine select Bible texts as a basis for instruction on how to be salt and light in the world without being contaminated by it. The BWV regards the world as all sacred. There can be no division of the world into secular and sacred. Christians are to live out their faith in all cultural spheres. Pat Coyne facilitates this class in the Church Offices Garage.
