Small Groups

Small Groups are a great way to connect with new friends and to grow in your faith. Jesus led the way in this with his group of 12 disciples. Connecting with other believers on your faith journey is essential for encouragement, purpose, mission, and fun.

Easy to get connected

It is easy to get connected to our small groups. The Sunday morning Small Groups groups listed below are happening this week. We have a number of other small groups that meet at various times and throughout the year. If you would like to learn more, contact Pastor Dave below.

Small Groups happening this Sunday:

Overcoming Emotions

Overcoming Emotions that Destroy by Chip Ingram: Anger is expressed in many forms. Some people erupt in volcanic explosions, others bottle their anger and are left with depression and physical ailments, while others leak their anger in a passive aggressive style with harsh words and sarcasm. This series will help you identify how you handle your anger and give you practical biblical tools to express anger appropriately and deal with those who express their anger toward you. Kurt & Paula Martin facilitate this class in Room 121.

Killing Kryptonite

Killing Kryptonite: What’s your kryptonite? For so many Christians, frustration and fatigue set in as they try time and again to get free from what holds them back. God never intended for it to be this way. He destined you to be victorious in every area of your life, and more than that, He gives you the power to overcome whatever comes against you. Based on the book Killing Kryptonite by John Bevere. Darrell & Michele Eiland facilitate this class in Room #123.

Revive: College Class

We are currently studying the books of First and Second Timothy--two letters written to a young church leader. This class is for anyone college aged, whether you are somebody exploring faith, or a long-term follower of Jesus. Facilitated by Emily Buller in the Church Offices building.

Spiritual Parenting

Spiritual Parenting - It's hard enough to train kids to behave, but good behavior isn't what Jesus calls for in the Bible. He wants hearts and souls that are shaped in vibrant faith and love toward God and others. How can parents cultivate this in their children? Families will be transformed as they learn how to create space for God-encounters in everyday life. Based on the book by Michelle Anthony. Kenny & Karen Rigler will teach this class meeting in the sanctuary.
