Continuing Our Worship

COVID-19 UPDATE:

As a church, it is our desire to honor both God and others in all that we do. To that end, please continue social distancing while in the church building.
As per CITY ORDINANCE 3988, we are asking that you wear a mask when entering the church. Once you are seated and maintaining the social distancing protocol, masks will be optional.

There are chairs available in the Gathering Space if needed to help adhere to social distancing.

Please know that we support everyone who makes the decision to continue worshiping via livestream. We believe you will make the best decision for you and your family.

Nursery and Children’s Church will be available for both services. The 9:00am service will also be LIVESTREAMING for those not attending.  The 11:00 Service is in-person only.

Grow in spiritual maturity in 2020

Growing in your relationship with Jesus does not happen by accident, but by intentionality. Make 2020 a year of spiritual growth, coming into a deeper knowledge of God. One way to do this is with the Get SHARP journal. This is a devotional journal specifically designed to help you understand God’s Word and apply it to your life. These are available at the Faith@Home center at North Oak Community Church. For questions about the Get SHARP journal, contact Pastor Dave.

GriefShare Support Group

Find support and encouragement for your grief journey. Often, friends and family want to help you, but don’t know how. That’s the reason for GriefShare. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and have successfully rebuilt their lives. We understand how you feel because we’ve been in the same place. We will walk with you on the long path through grief toward healing and hope for the future.

GriefShare is a network of 15,000+ churches worldwide equipped to offer grief support groups. The program is nondenominational and features biblical concepts for healing from your grief. Learn more about GriefShare at www.griefshare.org.

GriefShare is a support group that meets weekly at North Oak Community Church. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” on your long journey through grief. There are three key parts to your GriefShare experience:

  • Video seminar: Encouraging, information-packed videos featuring leading grief recovery experts.
  • Support Group: Small group discussion about the weekly video content.
  • Workbook: Journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics.

When? GriefShare meets on Thursdays from 6:00pm-8:00pm at North Oak Community Church in Room #119 (3000 Oak Street, Hays, KS). You are welcome to begin attending our GriefShare group at any point.  Each session is “self-contained,” so you do not have to attend in sequence.  You will be able to pick up any sessions you missed in our next 13-week cycle.
