North Oak wants to make a lasting difference in your life, in our community, and in the world.

Our mission is to lead people to grow in Christ, live connected, and take Jesus to others. That’s how we’re able to make a difference, and it’s the driving force behind everything we do.

A church isn’t a building—it’s the people. Our church campus is in Hays, Kansas, and people from Ellis county and beyond are a part of our church family. We think you’ll find friendly people who are excited to get to know you!

Jesus’ Message

Jesus’ message is that you matter and you have a purpose. Our goal is to help you connect with Him. It could start with serving, finding God’s vision for your life, or joining us regularly.

Life is not meant to be lived alone. With a strong community of friends, you can laugh, grow, and serve with people who genuinely care about you. Find a small group to join you on your journey.

Family

We have designed our church and ministries to help families raise kids who know and love Jesus, and we are here to partner with you. We believe teenagers are the next generation of leaders that will shape and change our world.

This is way bigger than us

Jesus is our example in serving and caring for others, and He is at work around the world. We exist to demonstrate God’s love, whether in person or online, individually or in groups, within our church and around the world, we support and engage in relationships that provide relief and restoration to a hurting world.

Meet Our Team

Interim Pastor Larry Chute

Pastor Larry and Elaine Chute will be leading North Oak in Interim Ministry beginning Sept. 15th.

We have served five churches in five different states (IL, MI, WI, FL, and ND) since joining IPM (Interim Pastor Ministries) in 2010.  Some of those church have been very fractured.  God, by His grace, has used us to help identify the areas that most needed strengthened which in turn helped them identify the kind of Servant Leader they needed.  All five of the churches have very gifted men now leading them to have greater Gospel impact in their community and world.

Our personal goal is found in Ephesians 4:22-24 – “to put off the old self…be renewed in the attitude of our mind…and to put on the new self…”

“Jesus said it. Now let’s do it. There is a lot of brokenness in this world and in our lives. Jesus has come to free us from that. Join us in this mission to bring hope and healing in Jesus’ name.”
